Get Involved in This Churchwide Activity for 2016-2017

One Church One Book is a year-long opportunity to study and grow together as a family of faith. We will read and discuss We Make the Road by Walking: A Year-Long Quest for Spiritual Formation, Reorientation, and Activation, by Brian D. McLaren. Family Night Is Coming

Kickoff Dinner: Wednesday, September 7 / 6:00-7:00 pm / Fellowship Hall

Family Night Programs Begin: September 14
Wednesdays, 6:00-8:00 pm, September through May

Family Night will kick off with a special dinner on Wednesday, September 7. Come and enjoy a meal together with the families from Faith Community Homes and learn about the opportunities for learning, faith, and fun coming each week during Family Night. Learn more about Family Night.

Summer Worship Schedule
Through September 4, 2016
 

We will offer two worship services June 19 – September 4, 2016, at 9:00 and 10:30 am. Both services will take place in the Sanctuary. The praise band Compass will lead music at 9:00. Choirs, ensembles, and soloists will lead music at 10:30.

Summer Suppers for the Hungry
Here's How You Can Help

First Presbyterian Church will offer supper on the first Monday of each summer month (6:30-8:00 pm) for local folks in need. Can you help? We need help with set-up, cleanup, serving, and providing food. Or, you can donate "To Go" items often needed by those who are homeless. Learn more.

Announcing a New Mission for First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights

Last fall, the Session of First Presbyterian Church approved a new, unified mission for our faith community. Our new mission will be to focus on helping the working poor in the Arlington Heights area. We will partner with Faith Community Homes and RefugeeOneThe projected launch for the unified mission is in September 2016!
