The Way updated

The Way
A Sermon Series by Alex Lang

The earliest followers of Jesus were not called Christians. They were referred to as followers of the Way, because they were known for living according to Jesus’ teachings. Each Sunday from January through Easter, join Alex Lang on a journey through the teachings of the Sermon on the Mount in the new sermon series, The Way. Learn more.

Help Update the Church Photo Directory
Get your picture taken Sundays mornings
The Congregational and Community Life Committee is updating the First Pres online photo directory. This is an important way to build community and improve church records, and we hope to have as many people as possible participate.

Watch for a Photo Directory table in the Narthex on Sunday mornings to have your new individual and family photo(s) taken. Please also confirm or update your contact information. The photos are for digital use only and will not be Christmas Card quality or specially formatted. We are not taking orders for pictures.

You can submit a digital photo of yourself to Mary Fino. Thank you for participating! Contact: Patti Noble

Hurricane Matthew Disaster Relief Efforts

Hurricane Matthew has caused death and destruction across the Caribbean and southeastern United States, including more than 800 dead, thousands injured, and the destruction of communities and crops.

Support Relief Efforts of Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) here.

You can also write a check to First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, specifying "Hurricane Relief" in the memo line. You can drop your check into the offering plate on Sunday or deliver it to the church office, to the attention of Debbie Walter. New Church Tagline:

Choose love. Be the light. Change the world.

The three phrases in this tagline encapsulate our vision—where we are going—and our mission—how we will get there. This tagline is a powerful way to help us understand, own, and spread the word about our identity and purpose as First Presbyterian Church. Learn more.
